SWLing and Radio

What is SWLing?

Have you ever seen your grandpa's old radio that had a "SW" option on it? Probably not, but if you did see one, you probably wondered "What is that about?". Well, that stands for shortwave radio, a special type of radio that is just above the AM band, yet way below the FM band.

To recive these signals, you will need a shortwave radio(no duh). You can get a decent one for about 40 bucks on Amazon or something.

Alternatively, you can go on a WebSDR, a radio that can recieve shortwave radio on the web.
